What To Do When You Arrive At the North Mesa Justice Court

Once parked, walk to the eastern most building to the front doors of the North Mesa Justice Court which are on the west side.  Take everything out of your pockets, take off your belt and go through security.  You will check in with the front desk on the right-hand side.  There may be a line, but there are usually three different clerks working.  One of the staff will check you in and tell you to have a seat in the courtroom.  There are only three courtrooms and usually all criminal hearings take place in the #1 courtroom. When you arrive to the appropriate courtroom, go through the door and take a seat.  If there is a clipboard it should be located at the front of the courtroom on a table.  You should sign in as the cases will be called by the order of the list.  If you have hired a private attorney, wait for them in the courtroom or as instructed.  If you have not hired an attorney, then wait for the Judge, Clerk or Prosecutor to call your name.
